Which happened inside an Excel spreadsheet.
All the type in the snap above is in the same font, that is to say, Calibri 11 point black. But the second and third lines had a strong purple tinge about them. While the 'i' and the 'l' in the fourth line have weak purple tinge.
The effect is fairly size sensitive. When I blow it up using the slide bar bottom right in Excel, the purple vanishes. When I blow the image above up using the zoom button in Photos, the purple vanishes. Probably vanished by the time it gets to the blog.
Probably not really fair to call it a Microsoft oddity, more an image processing oddity. Maybe an oddity of the eye. My eye even.
