Trolleys 601 and 602

The first trolleys of the new century were captured yesterday in the margins of buying a sprout tree against a possible table decoration, as noticed last year at reference 2.

A total of five trolleys, two of which had been fastened together by their coin lock chains, top left in the snap above, something I have not seen for many months. The remaining three involved three sizes, two stores and two trips - so it seemed reasonable to score them as two trolleys.

Then in the Ashley centre there was a stray trolley from the late lamented Wilko, next to a rather lamentable attempt at a Christmas tree. The Wilko shop in the High Street, on the other side of the market place, has been partially stripped out and is firmly shut, so there was nowhere obvious to return the trolley to. I don't suppose whoever is looking after the Wilko assets in Epsom wants it now, even supposing one knew who that was. Not scored.

PS: after breakfast: I am pleased to be able to report that after searching a number of other possible places, such as the garage and the cupboard under the stairs, the tree stand has now been found, hanging from a purlin in the roof space. All wrapped and ready to go for its second round.
