This large trolley from the M&S food hall, looking pretty new, was captured outside T.K.Maxx, across the market place from M&S.
Returned to the stacks, where large trolleys dominated once again, after a few visits involving small trolleys. And while I was in the Ashley centre, I thought I might as well stock up on brick dates from Collompton and wholemeal flour from Canada. Plus a TLS for good luck - the last one not have been too literary for me.
Home via the Screwfix underpass, taking in this fire hydrant cover on the way. Puzzled as to what MWD might stand for - was it the responsible authority or an esteemed manufacturer - I asked both Bing and Google and they turned up reference 3, which included a very similar cover, but without explanation of the MWD bit.
Next stop Bard, who thought that the Metropolitan Water District of southern California might fill the bill and so moved Epsom across the Atlantic and gave me an answer along those lines. Checking, I can find no Epsom in California, although it is home to the US branch of the Japanese computer company called Epson. Maybe Bard thought that was near enough. There are other Metropolitan Water Districts in the US, but I have not checked any of them for Epsoms. The new chat-enabled version of Bing was even worse: it has started popping up, rather annoyingly, all over the place, and this was the first time I have actually used it. Not terribly impressed so far.
So none the wiser. Perhaps BH will get it, perhaps I will get it when I wake up tomorrow morning.
Almost enough ripe blackberries in the passage to be worth taking a trip out to pick them. Maybe tomorrow.
