Some rather flashy looking thrushes in the neighbourly yew, hanging over our back patio, this morning. I did not think to check the colour of their heads, but maybe fieldfares, as previously noticed at reference 1 in the Spring of 2018. All of which fits with the timings given at the end of reference 2.

No black stripes to the face, so not redwings, also seen here at this time of year.

Maybe I will get a chance to look at gray heads later. The source of the snap above. I am not quick enough with the telephone, and it is no good with this kind of shot. At least, not with me in the driving seat.
