Mission accomplished on yesterday's second circuit. 70 days or approximately 2.37 moons after the target date of 31st December 2024. With the moon presently just short of full.
My first was a medium small trolley from the M&S food hall, plus a basket, from Station Passage.
My second was two medium large trolleys, also from the M&S food hall, also from Station Passage.
Which left the stack in the store rather cluttered. Given the small size of the stack, maybe M&S should consider not carrying so many different sizes of trolley, given that you can only stack trolleys together if they are of the same size.
In any event, they would have problems if all the trolleys stacked up outside Clocktower Cars were returned in the middle of the day. Never mind all the trolleys which I imagine are to be found in the Ashley Centre car park. Both places off limits for my purposes.
And I have a problem in that M&S trolleys are dominating the catch these days. What has happened to all the Waitrose trolleys that I used to find around town? And all the Sainsbury's trolleys that I used to find around East Street? Not extinct, but certainly an endangered species.
Then there is the problem of whether to carry on for the millennium. It has been three years since I hit the half millennium, so end 2026 might be a reasonable target. On the hand I might just stop now. Perhaps a pause for reflection.
While reference 3 reveals that to celebrate trolley No.700 last year we defected from Cappadocia in the High Street to Koza in South Street. Back to Cappadocia! Cappadocia rules OK!
