Trolleys 796, 797 and 798

The round started at the bottom of the garden on this occasion, where I found a couple of fine clumps of primroses - which seem to be able to grow where not much else grows.

Odd how the telephone seems to destroy the texture of the petals - destruction which I suspect is down to the high contrast between the bright petals and the rest of it. But it still gives something of the idea.

And behind, the fritillaries were showing. Not exactly vigorous, but present. Except that this time I failed to tap the (purple) flower to get it into focus.

Down to town, to pick up my first in Station Approach. A slightly dented large trolley from the M&S food hall.

My second and third from the Kokoro Passage. Two from B&M and one from the food hall.

On the way back with the third, I puzzled about exactly how the basket acquired the damage snapped above.

While across the road, it found a (non scoring) friend.

I thought that this was enough for one circuit, and so headed off for the Screwfix underpass. Picking up this van from Berry Bros on the way, complete with custom registration plate, as befits an outfit which supplies booze to His Majesty the King. Maybe they deliver in their own vans in the London area, then use other carriers for further afield? Horse and cart for His Majesty?

They look to get half a dozen or more mentions in these pages, with the earliest at reference 3: an intermittent rather than a regular customer. Not quite the shop that it used to be either - but I suppose that they have got to try to move with the times.
