A visit to town

On a recent visit to town, I was amused to come across this rather untidy planter outside a small office block in East Street.

Inspection of the office behind gave the snap above. Diamond Managing Agents, offering residential management services. People who have put a bit of effort into their website at reference 1, but clearly did not think it worth their while to keep their own front of house in order. Perhaps they don't expect potential clients to actually visit.

Blackberries were taken.

And for the first time, I took a walk down Leith Road. Apart from the weather, which was clement, one might have been up north. As it happens, looking south.

More blackberries by Screwfix.

And a Sainsbury's trolley in the stream, slightly damaged. Where, alas, it is going to have to stay for the moment. Perhaps if it is still there in a couple of weeks or so, I will feel able to have a go at it.

Home to cold beef and boiled vegetables, to be reported on more fully in due course.
