Trolley 513

Captured by the bus stop at the top of the Kokoro passage, but moved into the shade in the passage for the purposes of registration.

A trolley which contained a dozen or more boxes of a nicotine salt from the Nasty Salt stable. In various flavours and some which appeared to be more or less unused. Presumably something to squirt into a vaping device and possibly stolen from one of Epsom's vape stores. Plus a gadget called an Elfbar, watermelon flavour, once good, according the website at reference 2, for 600 puffs. Presumably a self contained version of vaping, not needing an additional device for consumption. A snip at £4.99 online, which seems a lot cheaper than fags. But then, a rather different experience. Lower, middle and red in the snap below.

All dumped in the non-recyclable compartment of a nearby litter bin, the instructions on the bin not including these particular products.

While the trolley was returned to a rather untidy stack at the Ashley Centre entrance to the M&S food hall. A reasonably busy food hall, where just two people, both ladies, were wearing masks, apart from myself.

Continuing around the Ewell Village anti-clockwise, I decided that I should have taken some water with me as despite the cloud, it was warm enough to need topping up at the half-way point. I had a sit on a bench on the approach to the bridge over the railway at Ewell West instead. At least one couple of middle years passed me twice.

While just before the turn into the Village, in the boundary hedge of what had once been the Cedars Care Home, I had come across an oleaster, with our oleaster having last been noticed at reference 3. Which prompted an inspection of the one back home, where the cut ends are showing no signs of life at all and the uncut ends at the back, the shoots which I had not been able to reach, have now died. Maybe it was something more than the frost nipping it. Maybe it was the shock of all the cutting. In any event, thoughts are now turning towards removal.

Let the various young bushes underneath show us what they can do over the coming summer. Cheaper and easier than buying something new. With some cover provided in the meantime by the fig tree coming up next door.
