I captured the trolley hidden away in the passage, noticed yesterday morning at reference 1, yesterday afternoon and returned it to the M&S food hall. There was a slightly sticky pink blob stuck to the bottom of the basket, so I left the trolley next to the stack for someone in M&S to deal with, although there was no such person to hand to tell about it. Access to water needed, access to gloves desirable. BH thought that it was probably a child's sweet which had escaped, melted a bit in the sun and then gone hard again.
The two trees outside Wetherspoon's, also noticed Monday, had by yesterday acquired little fences, rather carelessly erected without the separate panels being joined or otherwise tied together. I hope that there is nothing wrong.
Perhaps the idea is to deter people from pouring their drinks on the stones around the trees. Maybe alcohol and sugar not good for trees.
Decided that I was not up for the other two trolleys which were available for capture, and proceeded home via the Screwfix underpass - and I glad to sit down by the time that I got in.
PS: some confusion arising in the foregoing by reporting on things after the event. So I actually first saw this trolley on Monday afternoon, noticed it here on Tuesday morning and got around to capturing it on Tuesday afternoon. It now being Wednesday morning.
