Late on parade

Microsoft is clearly not in the same league as Google when it comes to targeting advertisements, to capturing the moment when something is hot and ready to click. Google took about five minutes to notice my interest in Brindisa and to feed an appropriate advertisement through to my email - while Microsoft took about 48 hours to feed the advertisement snapped above into my Microsoft news feed. The one that is mainly full of tripe from the Daily Express.

PS: maybe the people who worry about the evils of social media need to give a bit of time to the fringe players, to all the Daily Express's out there, as well as to the likes of Microsoft, Google and Facebook. The people who actually create the tripe, rather than just pass it around. Maybe the chap in China has got a point.
