Trolley 829

A medium small trolley captured behind the bus stop outside B&M. Returned to a stack containing a line of medium small and a line of large. Rare to find a decent supply of both sorts.

Colour notwithstanding, Google Images seems clear that we have a Japanese wisteria, many varieties of which are listed at reference 2. We have a regular blue one, but it is no where near as flashy as this one.

Don't think that I ever knew before that it was a native of Japan.

On through the Screwfix passage, where I learn that the artwork is not the work of some worthy but impoverished art student living in a squat somewhere, rather the people at reference 3. Big business gets everywhere... Odd that I have not noticed their logo before - perhaps they have only just got around to adding it. Or getting permission from the client, that is to say our council, to add it.

Checked on the whitebeam, slowly coming into flower.

And checking inside, I find that the ivy is starting to show water stress. Losing access to ground water does tell in the end, as is just about visible in the snap above if you click to enlarge.

First Line Recovery back outside the Ford Centre in Blenheim Road, for once with a couple of recoveries on board. I wonder if they are still driveable?

Front panel ripped off, as is just about visible behind the blue ramp. Presumably the red and yellow straps are quite strong if they are all that is holding the cargo in place.

And round the corner, some red chestnut. Is it as rare as red hawthorn? This last, I might say, mostly looking quite unhealthy when I come across it. Some sort of degenerate mutant of the proper white stuff? This chestnut looks healthy enough though, if not very big.
