I have been using Alto flour from Wright's of Ponders End since the run on bread flour at the start of the plague, back in the summer of 2020. That is to say five or six 16kg bags ago.
I had been fretting about the messy way that I had been opening the bags for a while. Then this morning, knocking up batch No.646, it dawned on me that it might be easier to open the bottom of the bag, which was sewn, rather than the top of the bag, which was glued. And so it proved to be, with the bottom of the bag now neatly opened. And I dare say that in time I will learn how to get the stitching off without needing quite so many cuts.
One more thing that I might have thought that I would have cottoned onto a bit faster.
