Perhaps nudging the rules about young trees a bit, but a surprise entry from Vauxhall, not far from the riverside Vauxhall Station. Perhaps planted as part of a recent makeover, of which more in due course.
I should have looked a bit more carefully for signs of the pruning of lower branches which must have taken place at some point - unless the side buds got pinched out in the nursery, leaving virtually no trace.
The first Wellingtonia from a central London park, parks which I had more or less given up on for these purposes, Battersea Park excepted.
