Dog vomit

Not having been down the bottom of the garden for a couple of days, in the course of walking some bricks this morning, I found what looked like the remains of some dog vomit mould in the brick compost bin, something which turns up there from time to time. See, for example, the rather fresher examples at reference 1. A variety of slime mould, or possibly slime mold, as explained at reference 2.
