In the middle of reference 1, in connection with the odd-pinnate investigation, I took some pictures of leaves of the supposed tree of heaven outside the old telephone exchange in East Street. A few days later, I took some more.
A zoom of the tip. Showing a very modest amount of asymmetry.
More asymmetry. And strong notches at the bases of the leaflets.
A zoom of this tip. Which looks very odd-pinnate, looing very unlikely that any more pairs will be forthcoming.
A late convolvulus flower from the Screwfix passage, town side. Not a bad effort by the telephone on this occasion, not overdoing the contrast between foreground object and background, as it is apt to do.
Proceedings concluded with spotting lots of quinces on the bush on the front wall of our northern neighbour. Previously noticed at the end of reference 2.
