Piano 107

No.107 was captured in the church of St. Thomas, at Newport on the Isle of Wight. This St.Thomas being the duality of the apostle and the saintly archbishop, with this last falling out of favour from time to time. Duality to rhyme with trinity.

A piano which we were told, had, in its day, participated in one or more of the summer music festivals on the Isle of Wight. The 2026 edition of which is to be found at reference 4, from which I learn that the tier one sponsor is Sky - the people that bring us the Sun - and two of the six tier two sponsors do booze and one does chewing tobacco, which I now know comes in flavours in much the same way as vapes.

A Blüthner grand, possibly from Leipzig. A make last noticed a little more than a year ago at reference 2. At the place with a Salle d'Armes in the basement; maybe even a master at arms. There is also talk of testing Gemini on Maigret and it looks as if it would be interesting to give him another go.

While the lazy spelling at reference 3 turns up one near Sloane Square and another at Axminster. Of all places.

PS: checking, I find that linking Sky with the Sun is old news. The Murdoch group was the big shareholder in Sky, but sold out in the wake of the hacking scandal of 2011. Sky is now owned by Comcast of Philadelphia, a description of which is to be found at reference 5. Not particularly savoury either.
